Dr Hanson was able to work us right in for an emergency calving. It was a lot of work, but he was able to save the cow. We appreciate Dr Hanson, his staff, and the other customers for their support.

Dr. Cierra is a gem! Patient, kind and caring. She listens to you, shares her knowledge with you and ensures the best care for your animal. I cannot thank her and the entire team at Atchison Animal Clinic enough. Nora and Amos are grateful, too! We drive the 40 minutes to this clinic because they’re the best in the surrounding area and we prefer them over local vets.

I just want to give a big thanks to the staff that helped us when it was time to let our dog go. You were so kind and compassionate to our dogs needs. Thank you for making it so peaceful for us all. We appreciated you coming out to our car so he could stay comfortable and we could take him home to be buried. Your staff made it quick and fit us right in. Very professional and understanding. The team at Atchison Animal Clinic was so helpful in fitting my dog in on a busy Monday. Not only did they get her in to see the doc, but they were extremely kind and understanding of her anxiety and fear when having her eye examined. It's a week later and she's back to her normal happy, healthy self. So grateful to the team for helping Monkey!

Atchison Animal Clinic showed incredible compassion to my 82-year-old neighbor when her beloved pug became very sick. They worked her in quickly, listened with patience, and explained everything clearly so she could make the heartbreaking decision to let him go peacefully. Their empathy, kindness, and professionalism made such a difficult day a little easier. We are truly grateful for the care they gave both her and her sweet pup.

Dr Nick and Bailey were on call Saturday evening when our young dog became ill with an obstruction. They were professional and attentive as well as kind. Dr Nick performed a thorough assessment and got the appropriate diagnostics which showed high likelihood of necessary surgery. He gave several options ranging from conservative to aggressive and explained risks and benefits of each. We opted for immediate surgery which he performed with Bailey’s assistance late that night. They took excellent care of our dog and kept me informed at appropriate times. They even checked on her the morning after we brought her home. I couldn’t be more impressed with the care we received and I highly recommend their services.

I had such a great experience with Atchison Animal Clinic for my dog’s surgery! Dr. Gentry and all of the staff were so kind and supportive through the whole process and took such good care of my girl. Their care was affordable, the clinic was clean and welcoming, and even when I had to call the on-call line after surgery, they were incredibly helpful and reassuring over the phone. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I’m so thankful for everyone there!
